Virtual Incentives at The Quirk’s Event – Chicago and New York
As a worldwide leader in incentives payments, we’re dedicated to keeping a pulse on the marketing research trends and how we can help drive the industry forward. That’s why we were so excited to be a part of The Quirk’s Event as a Gold Sponsor in Chicago and a Bronze Sponsor in New York.
Chicago, September 30 – October 1, 2021
The Quirk’s Event in Chicago had approximately 800 attendees and over 50 sessions where industry leaders shared their best practices, case studies, innovations, consumer insights and predictions for the future of marketing research.
Our exhibiting team included:
- Nico Salles – Business Development Representative
- Aileen Banks – Business Development Manager
- Danny Farkas – Director, Business Development
- Nate Shelley-Reade – SVP of Growth and Partnerships
We enjoyed learning more about our colleagues in the industry and how Virtual Incentives can help solve the challenges they face recruiting, engaging and retaining research respondents with an API that delivers highly configurable and customizable payments quickly and efficiently in 43 currencies and 51 countries.
We also participated in fun activities where Danny made the top 10 in the contest to see who could make the most connections through the conference app!
New York, November 2 – 3, 2021
The Quirk’s Event in New York was just as well attended and featured engaging sessions with valuable insights for not only the marketing research industry, but also for VI’s business. Some of our personal favorite sessions included:
- “Amplifying creativity: How brands create winning ads – and you can too!” by Henrik Jansen van Vuuren at Zappi, and
- “Connecting data: Critical ingredients for success” by Heather Hughes at Cint, who Tom discovered is also a fellow University of Cincinnati Bearcat!
Our exhibiting team included:
- Aileen Banks – Business Development Manager
- Danny Farkas – Director, Business Development
- Tom Schmidt – Director of Strategic Accounts
We were thrilled to see so many existing clients and partners stop by the booth to share their positive experiences working with VI. The event was also a great platform to reconnect with companies we met at the Chicago event and with other contacts in the industry. But perhaps the most fun was handing out VI swag, which was a hit again – especially the socks! Yep, who would have thought?
We loved being back in the Big Apple and made time to enjoy eating our favorite Korean food while exploring the city together.
Here’s what Danny has to say about the events:
“Quirk’s gave us an opportunity to get back to in-person events – with great effort to do so safely – and it was really exciting to see such a good turnout. From the insightful sessions to networking opportunities, the energy of an event like this simply cannot be matched in an online setting. We loved being able to reconnect with clients and meet so many new faces.”
